This time, the action will move down the hall from the Amazon Room to the spacious Penn and Teller Theater, which will serve as the two-day home of the Main Event final table. On the change of venue for the WSOP Main Event final table, Palansky explained, "We billed this as poker's biggest night and felt it deserved its own stage setting appropriate to that. We've taken over the Penn and Teller Theater. We're going to fill it with friends and family of the participants as well as the general public and hope to have a great couple of days."

Kenny "Hixx" Hicks came out on top in the Bodog $100K Guaranteed and walked away with $23,600. Ranked online tournament specialist "chicagocards1" finished third in the PokerStars Sunday Million for $84,000 to cap off an impressive showing over the weekend by PocketFives.com members.
In the latest update of the PocketFives.com Online Poker Rankings, Shane "shaniac" Schleger, a two-time winner of the PokerStars $200 Sunday rebuy tournament, returned to the Rankings this week at #87. "Eisenhower1" of Sweden moved up one spot to #10 worldwide and former #1 player "shaundeeb" moved up one spot to #3. Carter "ckingusc" King won the PokerStars WCOOP Main Event recently and climbed two spots to #14, while David "Bakes" Baker made the leap to #22. Australia's "SEABEAST" won the PocketFives Triple Crown in October by winning three qualifying tournaments on three different sites in a period of one week. Steve "stevoL" Leonard of Australia was up five places to #48 and "Michnak" jumped 12 spots to #65. "The Universe" and "JasonGray" entered the rankings at #89 and #94, respectively, and "stpauli111" broke into the Rankings at #96.
